I'm not a power-user, I don't program, most of the time I just play around with my computer. I own an Amiga, I'm almost "typical" of Amiga (Widespread) user's and I can honestly admit, computers that don't multitask don't make sense to me. Everytime I use a mac, pc, st, etc. I always get frustrated because I can only do one (or a select few) thing at a time. Multi-tasking is second nature to Amiga user's. I believe a lot of users don't even realize this until they go to another machine that doesn't multitask, and things start to get frustrating. It's more than just running CPU intensive programs. It really is second nature... p.s. Let's not start a war, there are many more Amiga owner's better equipped to fight it than myself...:-) _______________________________________________________________________________ | Evan Jay Mitchell EECS/ERL Industrial Liaison Program | | mitchell@janus.berkeley.edu University of California at Berkeley | | Phone: (415) 643-6687 | | "Think, it ain't illegal...yet!" - George Clinton | |_____________________________________________________________________________|
