Most disk manufacturers test their disk according to  the IBM standard
(i.e 80 tracks/720 kbytes).  So the tracks 81-84  may not be reliable.
Anyhow,  I have used  those    formatter programs and  problems   have
occurred only with cheap nameless disks. There  have been  no problems
with Basf, Sony and TDK disks to name but a few.
