I tried Quick-ST with and without blitter:

1)  No blitter, No Quick-ST  - SLowest
2)  Blitter                  - A bit faster GEM draw
3)  Quick-ST (no blitter)    - Even faster GEM draw
4)  Blitter AND Quick-ST     - Very very fast GEM draw !!!
