I have already compiled, tested twice, and installed gcc v1.35. But, when attempting to make g++, ld stuck in an infinite loop attempting to create the first of the gen* executables. From a log of the make session: ../gcc/gcc -B../gcc/ -c -g -DSOS -DESKIT -Iconfig fold-const.c ../gcc/gcc -B../gcc/ -c -g -DSOS -DESKIT -Iconfig rtl.c ../gcc/gcc -B../gcc/ -g -DSOS -DESKIT -Iconfig -c genflags.c ../gcc/gcc -B../gcc/ -g -DSOS -DESKIT -o genflags genflags.o rtl.o obstack.o (This is from the stock Makefile, with the g++ and gcc source directories on the same level) The ld process ran for over 60 minutes of CPU time before I killed it. Has anyone gotten it to run? It runs fine on our Sun-3, but the only system we have for student use is the Multimax. Any suggestions are welcome. Randy -- Randy J.
