	Actually NFILE is the total number of files open for the entire system. 
	See Appendix D of the Sys Admin manual.


	From /usr/include/sys/param.h:

	#define NOFILE  60              /* max open files per process */


	I have been told that if this is changed other things will break.
	Sorry I but I don't know what those 'other things are'.
