Message-ID: <108@crash.cts.com> Date: 29 Jul 89 18:16:10 GMT Sender: root@crash.cts.com Organization: People-Net [pnet01], El Cajon CA Lines: 13 Check and make sure that your CPU is really one of the high speed 286's. Only AMD and Harris make high speed 286's. And only one (as of March '89 issue of Byte) makes the 20 MHz 80286, I forget which one. If your CPU is an AMD or Harris, chances are the board is ok. I have heard of DTK using 10 MHz 286's in their 12 MHz/0 wait 286 boards. /*--------------------------------------------------------------------------* * Flames: /dev/null (on my Minix partition) *--------------------------------------------------------------------------* * ARPA : crash!pnet01!jca@nosc.mil * INET : jca@pnet01.cts.com * UUCP : {nosc ucsd hplabs!hd-sdd}!crash!pnet01!jca *--------------------------------------------------------------------------*/
