Normally, when utilities write text to the screen, you can suppress it
with redirection to nul: <util> >NUL

However, this does not work for all utilities, supposedly because they
use standard error rather than standard output. It also does not work
for *.sys files that write text to the CRT. How can you suppress the
text in these cases?
