However, even with dealer pricing, I am balking at the price of 80386 motherboards. I have been watching the discussions on these an want to be fairly selective in what I buy - I don't want one that overheats in 10 minutes or can't run a lot of applications properly. I've noticed that there are boards available based on the 386SX chip. I remember seeing some discussion on these recently but didn't pay much attention at the time. Could someone please fill me in on these boards/chips - what are the good and bad things you've heard or experienced and are they worth buying. (They are much less expensive than an 80386).
