  The V series is an update of the older models with the same base
number (100X). I believe they are track buffered, at least the 1006 is.
As I recall the suffixes, the ones ending in SR2 are HD+FD, the MM1 is
HD only. There are SR1 and SR2 I believe, but I don't have my notes
here.
