Every so often, the St-251 will not spin up when I turn the machine on. It works for a while and then gets into a mode where it fails often. I have always been able to get it going again by taking the machine apart and putting it back together again. By the time I get access to the ST-251 it's back in working mode so I haven't had much chance to investigate. Last time, just removing the AT cover fixed it. I suppose it's really the movement of the machine itself that did it. Anyone seen anything like this? Any ideas what can be done? Does Seagate have a customer service number?
