Subject: How to fix FILE ALLOCATION ERRORS

I'm having problems backing up up a directory.  All but one file can be copied
to a backup disk, with the exception generating a system error:

		drive c: file allocation table bad

message.  The disk operates just fine in all other respects, but the message
worries me!  I would really like to recover this data file.  What recommen-
dations would the net make?  Would Norton Utilities be of any help here?
