I'm using the Boyan Communicator 4.0 and would like to be able to exit the
program from time to time and remain connected to the other party.  

Unfortunately, if I exit with <CTL-X>, Boyan 4.0 assumes I'm done for the
day and tells the modem to hang up.

How can I get around this?
