My 3.5" drive is stuck on itself! Keywords: Only reads the first disk inserted Message-ID: <972@aati.UUCP> Date: 7 Aug 89 18:48:25 GMT Organization: Analysis & Technogy's Embedded Computer Group, New London, CT Lines: 18 I'm having trouble with my 3.5" drive--it only acknowledges the first disk put inot it. Any subsequent insertions are ignored. For example, if I ask for a directory of a disk I get one for the first disk it reads. If I insert a different disk into the drive it gives me the same directory which it read before. Also, inserting a second disk results in a "File not found - Abort, Retry, Fail" error message if I try to access the program contained on the disk. I don't think it's a problem with my drive--I believe it's either a controller problem or a software problem (I have MS-DOS 3.3). Anyone have any suggestions on how to isolate the problem and maybe fix it? Thanks. E-mail any replies to uunet!hsi!aati!moe
