Hi Gary According to the Miniscribe 3650 manual in front of me,there are 4 jumpers on the 3650 that must be set correctly. all are near the smaller card edge connector. One jumper is the "Drive Sellect" and should be on one of the locations labeled DS0-DS3 -- You chose which to suit your hardware config. There must be a jumper INSTALLED at locations JP1 AND JP2. These are only removed during factory test. With respect to the remaning jumper, and I quote, "JP3 is the park feature enable, it must be installed to use the 30 second park feature". **************************** HOWEVER ************************************ I had some problems with this and when I discussed the problems with Mini- scribe, they said that the autopark feature of the 3650 never did work right and that they recomended that it be DISABLED!!!!. Hope this helps -- Ken --
