The machine runs AIX 2.2.1 (newest version for the RT) and is set up with an anonymous ftp userid. There are already some programs ported by users at Berkeley and UC Davis and we encourage you to add and copy others. Programs there now include some graphics utilities, postscript interpreters, laser-printer utilities, some of the BSD programs (whereis, whoami, etc.), jove, more, etc. We will continue to manage this machine but can't police it carefully so please use your own judgement. If anyone has any other suggestions as to how this machine can be used, please let me know (jbersin@ibm.com). The machine's name is "ibmrt1.Berkeley.Edu." I encourage folks with RT software to use it. Josh Bersin
