I had a mass micro drive partitioned into 4 volumes. I did a volume backup. Then I reformatted the drives with SilverLining by LaCie, with the same sizes. Then I tried to restore the volumes but the backup software only recognized the system volume and refuse to backup up the other volumes. So I had to reinstall the mass micro drivers and partitioning software!! What a pain!! Just recently, I tried to backup another disk with SilverLining installed, and the tape backup software only recognized the system volume. I think I'm going to pitch apple's backup software if I can't find a fix soon. John Salmento Carnegie-Mellon University ziggy+@andrew.cmu.edu
