I realized I don't really know how to program in C. If the net would mind to give me some advice on which C books are good for a beginner. I know how to program in Pascal, Fortran, Basic, RPG and (whew) COBOL. I need a book that will not be so simple that I start skipping parts that I shouldn't , but not so involved in takes to much knowledge for granted and really gets me lost. Ideally I'm looking for a book that has alot of example code and one that might even try to give analogous examples in another language (like Pascal, for instance) so as to grasp the concept better.
