In the past (and currently while within the same application), holding down
the command (fan) key moved the background window without bringing it
frontmost. I am just curious why Apple didn't (or did they?) provide for a
way of implementing this with MultiFinder (for instance, passing into the
background some type of "move window without coming forward" event for the
appropriate application to move it's window). Has this feature just been
given up?
