Lines: 12 I have been having a similar problem with Newbury 4380 drive (320 mb). The drive hangs the SCSI bus on a MacPlus (but not MacII), even with "Unit Attention" disabled. I wrote a small program to simply reset the SCSI bus, and after that is done, I can mount the drive manually, using the SCSI cdev. You might try the same thing - if you can get the drive to a state that will respond to inquiry commands, you can likely find out enough about the drive WITHOUT the manual to be able to get it up and running.
