One of the reasons it's called Macintosh Programmers Workshop instead of MPUnix. I really wasn't convinced by any of your arguments. Sure, it may have some bugs. Sure, some of their tools aren't as powerful as UNIX. Sure it doesn't have have of the nice features of c-shell. But, no one ever claimed that they did. There are hundreds of people (I wish I was, but I don't have the $$$) who use MPW every day and are quite happy with it. I'm sure that almost all of them could make some suggestions on how to improve it, but I think your earth-shaking flames really didn't shed much more light than a match... Then again, these are only my opinions.
