    The version of sendmail supplied by MIPS (in RISC/os 4.0) does not
use MX mail forwarding records returned by a nameserver.  I've been told
by MIPS that this will be fixed in 5.0.  But for anyone who doesn't want
to wait, I've built a newer version of sendmail (5.61) which handles MX
records, fixes a number of other sendmail problems, and has been working
perfectly for me.  (Compilation was trivial using /bsd43/bin/cc.)

Both the source (in the form of a compressed tar archive
"pub/sendmail.tar.Z") and the executable are available via anonymous ftp
from newton.phys.washington.edu (128.208.28.9).
