Please, if you haven't done so, include the Van Jacobsen enhancements.
They're only a few lines of code (really; less than 20, I think),
and they affect performance on congested networks DRAMATICALLY, as
well as DRAMATICALLY reduce the strain on overworked gateways.

I'm sure everyone with a NeXT machine, and everyone on a network near
a NeXT machine, would be very happy if you did this.
