It contains a little about drawing (mostly compositing), and it contains a rather large Appendix including material from Adobe, Stepstone, and Gnu. These dox will cost you roughly $150-$200 alone to get. If you have access to a printer, then you can get by without purchasing the manuals. However, since you are working with a rather expensive computer in the first place, skimping on $250 seems silly. You will increase your learning time by about 40-60% with hard copies of the manuals.
