From your message it sounds like you are missing the last step --- The
application needs to be in a directory in Workspace Manager's path. Drop
the executable in ~/Apps, do "Find Tools" from the Workspace
"Utilities" menu, and see if it works.

This question came up about 2 weeks ago; I went into more detail back then
as to why the icons are so picky about showing up. Search for an article
entitled "Questions on IB use" (or something along those lines)...
