The 8085 always will remain 5MHz (the fastest Intel sells, I think). Because the 8085 calls routines to the 8088 for screen I/O, some speed increase in CP/M-85 would show. No matter what speed the 8088 is at, you will still be able to run CP/M-85 normally. If I had to use CP/M, I would use CP/M-86 which will run CP/M-85 programs (swithes to the 8085) as well as CP/M-86 programs. Cheers, Gern -------
