Message-ID: <1961@infmx.UUCP> Date: 31 Jul 89 19:58:24 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: Informix Software Inc., Menlo Park, CA. Lines: 22 I am interested in implementing pathalias without replacing sendmail with smail or one of its competitors. I plan to make *that* change once I've had a chance to build and road test the new version of smail. My questions are: - Can I do this ? Reading the various sets of docs, it looks like makedb will create something which is compatible with an aliases dbm file. What sets of options/flags etc do I need to use to bring this about ? - Do I need to write some sort of a shell alias to do the lookups before handing off to sendmail ? Thanks for the help. I'll summarize if there is enough interest.
