All you have to do is something like this from the shell: $ shar file1 file2 file3 > OUTFILE This works in System V, and 4.3 BSD. It should also work on the Ultrix (hopefully!!). And it is a Bourne shell script, not a Korn shell. But it should not be too hard to code it in ksh, if you follow the sh version. Have fun... -- /| |\ Vijay K.
