I would like to find a system for which there is on-site service available from a major company. I'm also growing quite fond of SCSI, so a vendor which offers the Adaptec SCSI host adapter line as an option would be a big plus. To head off a few obvious responses, IBM and Compaq have been ruled out. They're just too expensive. One that I've noticed already is Dell. How well do the Dell systems and Xenix/Unix get along? What are some others I might consider? Thanks. ------------- James B. O'Connor Work: jim@tiamat.fsc.com Filtration Sciences -- Play: jim@bahamut.fsc.com A division of Ahlstrom UUCP: uunet!tiamat!jim
