I'm having problems making pull down menus.  What I want is:

Press menu bar button (button #1)

Popup panel with series of buttons

Drag pointer down to button with a selection (button #2)

Release button triggering callback in selected button


The problem I'm having is that button #1 is grabing all the button release
events.  Any ideas?
