There are index and readme files scattered throughout. For those without ftp access (or even those that do), there are also lots-n-lots of email archive sites who advertise themselves somewhat infrequently (nudge nudge wink wink). These sites provide automatic email responses to queries such as "send me the index" and "send me source". And they provide this for all source newsgroups, not just X ones. I have a list of some archive sites from the pacific northwest, to the east coast and even one in austrailia. If you want info about an archive site in a theatre near you, send email to: island!argv@cad.berkeley.edu Do not mail for this information to any other address as I only keep this information at island. dan ----- My postings reflect my opinion only -- not the opinion of any company.
