Message-ID: <890807-165424-2882@Xerox> Date: 6 Aug 89 14:56:17 GMT Sender: daemon@bloom-beacon.MIT.EDU Reply-To: mayer.WBST128@xerox.com Organization: The Internet Lines: 26 The InterViews 2.5 releases contains a version of imake, revision 1.41. This version's interface has changed significantly from the imake released as part of X.V11R3 (version 1.37). In particular, an execute ("-e [filename]") option has been added, and the default behavior has been changed to ("-s Makefile"). The documentation shipped with the InterViews release did not mention these changes (and was, in fact, bit for bit identical to the X.V11R3 releases documentation for imake). I would like to put a version of imake out in our local release directory. My question is, which version should I use? Does releases 1.41 represent "the future" (eg. X.V11R4), or is it a local Stanford variant. -- Jim Mayer Member Research Staff Systems Sciences Laboratory Xerox Webster Research Center 800 Phillips Road, 0128-29E Webster, New York 14580 Phone: (716) 422-9407 Fax: (716) 422-2126 EMail: mayer.wbst128@xerox.com (James L Mayer:wbst128:Xerox)
