The program "pt" recently posted to comp.sources.misc (v07i106,
<61721@uunet.UU.NET>) works when compiled with gcc without -O. If -O
is used the program fails to display any output if invoked with the -a
option. This is on a Sun-3/60 under SunOS 3.5.2_EXPORT.
