Well, I have certainly seen a discussion of GNU newsgroup "censorship" before, probably on info-gcc. There were the very same questions about whether FSF could restrict discussion given who paid for Usenet and the Internet, etc. Some details have changed, but that's about it. The only interesting difference is that the discussion is now in gnu.misc.discuss, which looks like it might be the right place for discussions of this sort (while it should be clear that the technical groups are not). -- Jeff
