Specifically, there should be an admonition to potential respondents to
READ ALL NEW ARTICLES before replying to any.  This won't eliminate the
problem, but it will lessen it significantly.

[It should also urge the use of eMail as opposed to a follow-up article,
whenever appropriate.]
