Message-ID: Date: 31 Jul 89 22:42:16 GMT Sender: news@phoenix.Princeton.EDU Distribution: news Organization: Cognitive Science Lab. Princeton University. Lines: 18 Can anyone give me pointers as to how to get nntp for my Suns (Sun-3 + Sun-4) under SunOS 4.0.1 ?? Currently, I'm using the Gnus package in GNU Emacs 18.54 to read news -- it sets up a nntp link to a general purpose Vax on campus and then get the news articles from there when I issue the appropriate commands in Emacs. I would like to use it outside Emacs sometimes (although I rarely leave Emacs for my daily work). Basically, I want to do the same thing like Gnus and read the news remotely. Any pointers will be much appreciated. -- Eric Ho Cognitive Science Lab., Princeton University voice = 609-987-2819 (x2987) email = eho@confidence.princeton.edu eho@bogey.princeton.edu regards. -eric-
