Message-ID: <1811@sw1e.UUCP> Date: 28 Jul 89 14:33:09 GMT Organization: Southwestern Bell Telephone Co Lines: 26 I'm a radio collector and just aquired several boxes of old tubes, mainly early receiver tubes. One tube among them is unknown to me & I appeal to the net for answers or pointers to references. Is anyone familiar with a VT-127A tube? An odd looking fellow, I assume it to be a transmitting tube with four separate lead-outs on the side & two on the bottom. _ -=| |=- -=| |=- ( ) | | ^ EIMAC is the manufacturer, and I find no mention of them in "Saga of the Vacuum Tube", "70 years of Tubes and Valves" or the tube itself in the RCA tube manual. I'm interested in specifications, dates of manufacture & original applications. As an aside, I posted a request earlier for radio manuals, books etc. and got a mixed response. I'm still looking for Radio Stuff if anyone is looking to get rid of same. -- # ---Tom Adams--- # uunet!swbatl!sw1e!uusgta or uusgta@sw1e.swbt.com # opinions... Opinions? I can have opinions here?
