Forgot about the new infrared motion detectors (and the very old ultrasonics). The corner reflector will spoof ultrasonics, too. (The sound waves work the same way, and are roughly the same size as the x-band microwaves.) Passive infrared is recognizable by a patterned whitish plastic lens. An infrared LED in a blinky-light circuit should do the job. (Put it in series with an ordinary LED for a pilot light.)
