I tried a file transfer between the Unix PC I have at home and a remote
system and got some strange results.

(1)  Using 
	uucp -r ....., and
	Uutry ....,
     I got
     	expect: (in:)
     	lost line errno -14
     	Call Failed: LOGIN FAILED
     	etc.
     	
(2)  Using
	cu -d ...
     I got
     	Connected
     	transmit started
     	_receive started
     	got read error, not EINTR
     	Lost Carrier
     	
(3)  Using the Telephone Manager under UA, everything worked perfectly!!

I'm running 3.51 with HDB MT-V5.4U.  The data profile has
	1200 bps
	modem control off
	flow control on
	8N1
	
I'd be grateful for any suggestions as to how to correct (1) and (2).
