The Motorola MC88100 User's Manual disallows traps, jumps, branches etc
from use in branch delay slots "to ensure future compatibility".

I'm intrigued that AMD didn't (not displeased, note).  The first time
I was reading a 29K manual and realised you might be able to do this
sort of thing, I said to myself "Aha! The PDP-10 EXEC instruction!"
