			    PARALLELISM & GRAPHICS

On Aug. 1, I chaired a course at Siggraph '89 on "Parallel Processing and 
Advanced Architectures in Computer Graphics."  The course was very successful 
with a very large attendance.  I am interested in offering a modified version 
of this course for next year, extending what was covered this year and going
more indepth into the algorithms and architectures.  

I have several requests:

If you attended the course this year, I would like to obtain as much feedback 
as possible in addition to the evaluations so that we may make the course even
better for next year.  If there were any comments that you did not include
in the evaluations, please forward them to me so I can incorporate any 
necessary changes.


Second, regardless of whether you attended this year, please forward any ideas
or suggestions as to what we should cover next year and any improvements that
should be made.  My gut feeling is that the course next year will be an
advanced course, extending this year's subjects rather than just a re-done
version of this year's course.


Third, if you are interested in participating in the course for next year,
please let me know so I may put together a list.  Participation can include
writing an article which will be published in the course notes and/or speaking
at the course itself.  If you have done some research in the above areas, I
would like to hear from you.
