the file format posted can be obtained from the EMUSIC server at AUVM.
send the command GET FILEFMT MIDISPEC to LISTSERV@AUVM. it is part of
a whole series of information files which can be obtained by sending
GET MIDISPEC PACKAGE to the server. to see the index, send INDEX EMUSIC
to the server, LISTSERV@AUVM.
along these lines... i'm going to be posting EMUSIC-D, the digest of the
discussion group EMUSIC-L, to the newsgroup alt.emusic. would anyone
like it to be cc'ed here?
