The De Furia & Scacciaferro book mostly concerns itself with MIDI Pascal & MIDI Basic. I've never thought that the De Furia column in Keyboard was all that good. Crummy programming style. If you already know how to program the Mac the MIDI Manager info is all you'll need. I've converted one program I wrote that used the MacTutor (Kirk Austin) drivers to the MIDI Manager. It took about a day. I then wrote a couple of little data filters. Took about half a day each. MIDI Manager is pretty cool. -- _______________________________________________________________________________ Chris Muir | "There is no language in our lungs {hplabs, pacbell, ucbvax, apple} | to tell the world just how we feel" !well!cbm | - A.
