On a system using a local news spool, with an ordinary 2.11.x inews, inews itself will add your .signature to all articles. Unfortunately, GNUS also wants to add .signature for you . . . I have resorted to a fairly disgusting hack on 3.1[012], each time a new one has come out, so that GNUS does not, by default, do this. . . .
