Maybe that is why you got such a good deal at the surplus place. I keep my antenna about 1.5 feet high and it lights the "most accurate" light almost every night. If I go to an external antenna or extend the rod antenna to its full extent, the "most accurate light is on for the majority of the time. -- John E.
