The repair guys told me that when power was restored, the fan did not start. After a few hours without cooling, the power supply blew itself out. You need to replace the power supply. The contents of your disk should be OK. Sorry for the bad news." Bad news hell no. That was great news and correct though I thought at first the disk had been blown too. It was a grounding problem in my test setup.
