I am currently reviewing an Inventory Distribution System developed
and sold by a company called Jonas & Erickson based here in Toronto.
The sales pitch is quite positive and the software appears to have
all the functionality I need. What I am interested in hearing about is people's
experience with J&E's implementation and after sales support. Does
the company follow up the flash of the sales effort with solid
software and thorough, timely support? I will be running the software
on a Compaq 386 with Interactive's 386/ix, any idea what kind of performance
I can expect with up to six users? Are there concerns I should raise up front
with J&E to avoid problems later? Any information you may have will be
greatly appreciated.
