Well if one is going to approach Canadian culture from the aspect of "who uses it, pays for it" monetarism, then why not re-organize CBC along the lines of PBS, and individual stations have to raise money from the viewers who watch. If you feel you should not pay for CBC television (presumably you are only referring to the English language service) then surely you must also object to la television de Radio Canada being provided in areas where the number of French speaking viewers tends to zero (similarly for CBC in purely Francophone districts). //Greg Miller
