Uh, By the way ... in your pd2: area, there are two files, autoftp1.tar-z.1 and autoftp2.tar-z.1 ... I can't seem to get into either one. It would appear they are compressed, (16 bit), then tarred -- yet my comp16 won't unpack either one. I tried comp12, but it complains of 16 bit packing and dies. I don't suppose you could give me a hint? I run under MS-DOS 4.01, with a 16 bit FAT on a large partition drive if that could be a problem ... it has been before. I transfered them to a VAX/VMS yesterday with hash bell tenex send pd2:autoftp1.tar-z and everything else I got works ... so I assume it's the human factor.
