This method prevented one's terminal from blowing up if it was inadvertently plugged in to a telephone jack and the phone started to ring, etc. etc. Well, I can't seem to find that article anymore. If you have Swell Suggestions on how to handle this sort of problem (perhaps even including RJ45s, if more wires are needed for modems and the like) I'd really appreciate hearing from you.
