Does anyone know if the Microcomm QX/V.32 modem is a good box to use to
implement a SL/IP connection?  Why/Why not?  If not, are there other
9600bps (or >) modems which are good?   If so, does any of the MNP
compression stuff actually work well in an IP environment?  What sorts
of througput might I expect?
