Message-ID: <394@uc.msc.umn.edu> Date: 29 Aug 89 18:54:04 GMT Organization: Minnesota Supercomputer Center, Minneapolis, MN. Lines: 15 Does anyone know if the Microcomm QX/V.32 modem is a good box to use to implement a SL/IP connection? Why/Why not? If not, are there other 9600bps (or >) modems which are good? If so, does any of the MNP compression stuff actually work well in an IP environment? What sorts of througput might I expect? Thanks.. -Jeff -- Jeff A.
